Having fellowship with the Holy Spirit is being in agreement with Him and His Word. In fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the truth begins and ends in the Bible.

“For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” – ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬

The spirit is most important because like the heart, when the spirit leaves there is no life, and life remains even when the brain stops but then there is no aliveness. Without aliveness, there is no purpose of having life.

As Christians, we are not immune to our human bodies. Our emotions are as loud as anyone else’s, and we can live in our thoughts just like anyone else who isn’t Christian. What differentiates us from other people is that our lives actually have a manual book of life,

Our souls, made up of our emotions and thoughts, need to be in constant communion with our spirit, because it is our spirit that can be in constant union with the Spirit of God. This is the complete spiritual equation.

Spiritual dryness, doubt, and faith struggles are symptoms of spiritual malnutrition from what our souls consume and feed our human spirits.

Spiritual confusion is being engaged in the worldly doctrines that make up the world. Doctrines that come against God and His Word, leaving us derailed spiritually.

The soul engaged in the flesh will start to drain the human spirit; the soul that reconnects to the Holy Spirit will start to make the spirit feel life. Spiritual exhaustion is emotions and thoughts being in the flesh.

Spiritual growth cannot happen through what we do physically, it can only happen through what we do spiritually. Spiritual things involve the Spirit of God and our human spirits and souls.
